M.A.I.N Catalog

Florham Park Library is a member of the Morris Automated Information Network (M.A.I.N), a New Jersey organization of 37 municipal libraries and the Morris County Library.  These libraries share a computer system and offer residents an online catalog that lists over 2 million items.

To search the online catalog, you must first log on either as a Guest User or by entering your library card number and PIN.  Once logged on, you can enter search criteria.  You can search the catalog as a Guest User, however, with your library card and PIN, you can perform searches as well as request materials from Florham Park Library or any other library in the system.

If you cannot locate items in the M.A.I.N catalog, try using Jersey Cat, New Jersey's Virtual Catalog and Interlibrary Loan System, to search for and request materials by interlibrary loan from over 200 other New Jersey libraries. If you submit a JerseyCat request, we will let you know the status of your request and if the item is available, we will have it delivered to our library for you to pick-up.

My Account

The (M.A.I.N) Library Catalog also provides access to ‘My Account’. By logging into the catalog and then selecting the ‘My Account’ link in the upper right-hand corner, you can view what items you have checked out, when they are due, renew them, and see if you have any fines.  If you are unsure of your PIN or have trouble logging in, please come see us or call the Library at (973) 377-2694.

Privilege Has Expired

You may see the message “Privilege has expired” when you try to place a hold or renew items.  You need to call or stop at the Library to confirm your contact information. A staff member will be glad to help with any questions about using the catalog.

Fines

Fines are calculated by the computer from the due date, and will block further renewals or checkouts when the fine reaches $5. If this happens, please see a staff member.
